Stoneridge Hospice was born in the living room of our beloved grandma’s house in February 2020. 7 years prior, while on hospice, we lost our Grandma to lung cancer. Reminiscing about how much we missed Grandma, and how proud she was that we both became nurses, my aunt and I were discussing our nursing careers. The challenges we were facing as ER nurses who didn’t have the time we wish we had with our patients was heavy on our hearts. After quietly listening, my uncle challenged us to make the dream of freedom to provide the kind of care we felt our patients deserved, a reality!
The three of us began to brainstorm options that would allow us control of the type of nurses we wanted to be. Having been in the ER for many years and owning multiple Home Health Agencies since 2009, we welcomed a change. The discussion about Grandma and our memories of her at end of life lead us to investigate further into hospice. Research quickly affirmed that the mere mention of hospice care should not be synonymous with imminent death. Then and there, we solidified our mission.
Stoneridge Hospice would be different...
Cultivate a culture of compassion and empathy. Cultivate a reputation of trust and excellence. Cultivate a team of dedicated and experienced professionals.
Stoneridge would provide personalized care of the same caliber we would expect for our own family. We were licensed by AZDHS in June of 2020 and Medicare certified in November 2020. It has been an experience; one we wouldn’t trade!
I am proud to say Stoneridge has flourished and grown. Our team is attentive and dedicated and individually aligned with our mission and values as a company. We have been truly blessed in helping patients and families through this intimate stage in their journey. We have been forever changed by the privilege to do what we do, and we look forward to serving patients and families for many years to come.

The loving gentle patience and care this business afforded my mom was something I never expected. The staff spent hours with her on a regular basis giving me peace of mind when I lived so far away. My mother couldn't say enough about the good this hospice did for her! She has since passed but I am comforted to this day, knowing Stoneridge professionals treated my mom as if she were their own! I can't recommend this business highly enough to my friends and family. They are by far the best in the valley.

I can't express the level of care my husband received with Stoneridge. The staff was extremely patient and caring throughout the last 3 moths of his life. Not only for my husband but for myself as well. Consistently checking up and always available for anything we requested. They were so comforting and peaceful, that was a blessing to me as I was alone caring for my spouse. I highly recommend their services as we had gone through several hospice companies over the last year of his life. Never had one issue or concern with the level of care he received.

If I could give Stoneridge Hospice more than 5 stars, I would. Stoneridge provided hospice care to my sister. We could not have wanted or expected more from them; their care (and caring) was excellent. Their caring for my sister was both professional and personal. Everyone we dealt with at Stoneridge was skilled, thoughtful, and caring in virtually everyaspect of the care they provided. Our entire family is so appreciative to Denise, Debbie, Kelly, Sandra, Janet, Patti, Chaplain Tim, and the others who provided care, directly, or indirectly to my sister. To all those at Stoneridge: A great big thank you from our entire family for being there for my sister and doing all you did to make her comfortable during her final weeks.

Selecting a hospice is a very difficult and challenging situation for any family or friend to have todo. I chose Stoneridge hospice for my friend Mother final care. I work in this field so I have agreat understanding of companies that truly put their clients first. Stoneridge doesn't have clients they have extended family. Each one of their clients are touched on a personal level and that includes their loved ones around them. Stoneridge is not for profit but for peace. Peace for your loved one peace for yourself. I will always recommend Stoneridge hospice to whoever I encounter in my travels. They are 5+ stars from the nurse's to the CNAs to the office people. I can never say thank you enough.
